The timing antenna is a rugged L1 antenna designed for various applications with superior performance. It includes outstanding multipath mitigation measures. The antenna can withstand severe weather and harsh environments. The timing GPS antenna has a highly stable phase center and provides flexible antenna installation and placement. The main difference between the timing antenna and the ordinary antenna is that the timing antenna should work continuously and reliably for a long time to reduce the impact of the environment. Therefore, our timing antenna is very different from the ordinary antenna in design, and lightning protection design, stability design, and anti-interference design must be focused on.

The timing antenna is mainly used to provide a reference clock signal for the base station. It is installed on the top of the base station tower and transmitted to the receiver through a cable for data processing.

The antenna has a built-in low-noise amplifier module, which filters out interference signals through multi-stage filters, and uses an amplifier with a high P1dB compression point to prevent signal congestion. Built-in lightning protection circuit ensures normal operation in harsh environments. The antenna cover is made of UV-resistant material and can be exposed outdoors for a long time. The antenna base is made of metal material, which can withstand strong forces and is easy to install.

Components of the timing antenna

a. Waterproof and UV-proof antenna cover

b. A durable metal aluminum base

c. Equipped with N-type waterproof connector

d. Dielectric patch antenna for receiving GPS signals

e. Low noise amplifier with bandpass filter

The timing antenna has the following characteristics:

1) Strong anti-oxidation ability of the feeder: The anti-oxidation ability of the feeder directly affects whether the GPS works normally.

2) Lightning protection type: At the moment of lightning strike, the lightning arrester starts to work and automatically short-circuits. The current and voltage no longer go through the amplification circuit, but go through the lightning arrester and directly ground. Protect the antenna's amplification circuit. At this time, GPS no longer works. After the lightning strike, the lightning arrester automatically disconnects and resumes normal operation.

3) High sensitivity

4) The antenna feeder can be customized at will: According to the user's requirements, the user can customize the antenna with a special length. The cable length can reach 200 meters without an online amplifier in the middle, so as to facilitate on-site installation and reduce potential faults. In addition, with the online amplifier, the cable length can reach 300, 400, 500 meters or longer, suitable for use in special environments such as hydropower stations and dams

5) Antenna waterproof design.

6) High gain: According to the antenna length, the amplifier gain can be adjusted from 26, 35, 45 and combined with the adjustment of noise to provide a user with a more reasonable matching value

7) High reliability: ensure long-term continuous stable and reliable operation
